Syncing Contacts
There are two ways to synchronize your contacts with Google Contacts:
1. with iTunes
2. with iCloud
1. Using iTunes:
If you have a Google account and manually backup ur iPhone to ur computer using iTunes, here is an easy way to export your iPhone contacts to ur Google account.
First open iTunes and plug in ur iPhone to ur computer via USB cable. Select ur iPhone in iTunes.
Under the 'info' tab, choose to sync Contacts with Google Contacts.
You will fins that ur contacts will have been imported to ur Google Contacts.
2. Using iCloud.com:
If u backup ur important data on ur iPhone to iCloud..
Goto iCloud.com and login to ur iCloud account.
After that, Click on Contacts and u will see all of ur iPhone contacts which have been backed up in iCloud.
Press Ctrl + A to select all contacts, click on the Settings button on the bottom left, then select "Export vcard.."
Login to ur Gmail and go to Gmail > Contacts.
After that, click on 'Import Contacts..' and an alert will be prompted. Choose ur exported vCard file.. and click Import to import all iPhone contacts to Google Contacts.
Restore Contacts on Android
Now that u have successfully exported and merged duplicates of your iPhone contacts to Google Conacts, u can begin to restore it to ur Android phone. On your Android phone go to Menu > Settings > Accounts and sync.
Tap on Add Account and choose Google.
Then, tap on Sign in and key in the Gmail account u used to Sync your contacts to.
Wait for a while. When communications to the Google Servers are complete, u will areeive at a page to a page where u r given options on what u want to sync into ur phone. Tick 'Sync Contacts' and tap on 'FINISH'.
With that, u r done..! To verify that u have successfully transferred all of ur contacts into ur phone...
Check your contacts book.
